tallWhen I saw this picture on facebook it made me laugh hysterically. Do you see the look on the little boy’s face? It was like,”Help me, I didn’t really want to do this, let me off!”

I can totally relate to that picture. I have had so many days lately where it seemed every hair on my head was sticking straight up and I was breathing hard, eyes closed tightly trying to hold back the tears. I know you can relate! As the commercial says, “Life comes at you hard sometimes.”

I have to remind myself on those days of the past when God has been so faithful to me. I was telling someone recently, God has met my every need. He always, always provides! You see when worry sets in, and satan knows when those days comes, he pounces on us and wants to remind us of everything wrong in our lives. It’s those days I have to pick myself up and remind myself that this day will pass. The old quote, “Today is the tomorrow, I worried about yesterday.”

Unexpected things take place in our lives that we just didn’t see coming. In those times I need to dig deep in God’s word and just hold on to Him. I mean hold on to His hand and just say Lord please take this and give me Your peace. When I cry out to Him, He immediately runs to my rescue. What a blessed picture that is of my Lord coming to my side when I call upon His name.

During this time your hair may still be flying and you aren’t really sure where the path is leading, but the one thing you can count on is that your hand is firmly planted in His and He isn’t leaving your side! That my friend is how we survive the hard stuff that comes our way. Isaiah 40:29, “He gives strength to the weary, and increases the power of the weak.” For when I am weak He is made strong! So hold on tight and let the storms blow, eventually the winds will cease and you will be alive. Until that day, look back and thank Him for all the times He has held on to you and know He will continue to lead, guide, and direct your path because that is His promise. Have a blessed day and hold on, God is running to your side right now! I know because He runs to mine everytime I call.
